We had such a great success last time, I have been asked to put this thing up again.....but this time, lets put a little spice on it.

Dim Sum RUN2005 to VEGAS for LUNCH!!!!!

It would be great to see guys for Dim Sum one of these weekends in Las Vegas. Please let me know what day you want to schedule it for and I will coordinate the Vegas guys on my end.

As a warm up I will go to dim sum tomorrow to prepare for the festivities. :smile:

I will play, that would sound like fun, are we doing a single day event or staying overnight?

I might be able to ask a friend of mine who has a non-occupied house there for us to stay in.

As for the food, let's ask the Vegans where to go.

This should be a single day event......dim sum here in the morning, make a run to vegas for lunch with the neveda crew. We can stop at FX or something. This is something we have never done.........and meeting our neighbor members would be a blast too.

Come on guys................this is NOT a mischief run or cannon ball or related. Just a friendly drive to see who gets to Vegas first. :biggrin: hehehehe hahahah

Calvin, considering a 4 hour drive to Vegas, we need to leave at 8AM to get there by 12PM, so we need to meet for DimSum at 7AM???

I need to find out who is open at 7AM for DimSum, NBC that we went to last time opens at 8AM, but the good stuff start to come out from about 10AM

Why don't we meet and drive to Vegas for DimSum, I know they are not as good as the ones here, but it should not be that bad.

James, I think that is a great idea. I agree that at 8AM the selection is not the best. Also, you would be suprised how good the Dim Sum in Vegas is. I am from the SF Bay Area and am very content with the Chinese cuisine here in Vegas. I even found a pretty good wonton noodle house.

By the way, where is a good place for Dim Sum in Orange County? It would be great to have some good Chinese food the next time I am down there. I normally go to Rosemead for Asian foon in SoCal.

Yes, I did say I can't make it the run on the 19th. However, I'll be in Vegas next weekend for a family function and I'm always looking for new places to eat. :biggrin:

My two favorite places for Dim Sum are Chang's on South Decatur and Cathay House on Spring Mountain. Cathay House generally is better, but Chang's is better priced.

You need to give your life more balance. You are over-weighted on the work side of your life. This will eventually lead to health problems and marital problems. I understand that you have goals and aspirations, but if you're sick, dead or miserable then it doesn't matter - does it!!

I am trying............ :biggrin: that's why I am planning on attending this Dim Sun run :biggrin: hopefully I can make it with you guys.

I always thought if I can achieve (or just get closer to) my goal in early age, it will make my life easier later on :biggrin:

BTW I am planning to open up another location, it may be closer to you :biggrin:

I do need a vacation :frown:
