It was a marvelous strip. The *only* reason Hobbes would revert to a stuffed tiger when alone with Calvin is if Calvin stopped believing and that would have been incredibly sad.

Blasphemy! I dug C&H and had a few books. BLOOM COUNTY is still the greatest of all time, however. :biggrin: I got the cartoon, and the reaction - just not your very heartfelt response to Calvin "growing up, being productive, losing his imagination, etc." Not good, of course, but I didn't lose any sleep when I read it...
