Dealer markup $10,000 and refusal to honor agreement at MSRP

I am about to surrender my first car allocation at MSRP if you want it Bruce.

Keep the faith. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Visualize your regret if in a couple months the NSX is as great as some are hoping.

Ok. I'm projecting-- plus I drank the cool-aid (paid the deposit)!

H Bruce..
We both have white Launch edition 4c in Delray Beach...I have first allocation on an NSX also..we must be drinking form the same water fountain..I spec'd white ..( cant help myself .love white cars..had 91 nsx in black..but white won out this time..)...let me know what you end up ordering..
Good Luck

130R white and Saddle interior...(no carbon)
I had your colors on my Tesla Roadster and always received rave reviews ...we will have to get together .

Hi Stewart,

I hope Acura sponsors some meet ups.

Are you thinking about doing the factory tour in August?

Did your dealer get which number off the line your car will be? It seems kind of odd that my dealer was informed that my car will be the 160th, but other folks don't seem to be getting that info.

communications have been slow..I spoke with the dealer yesterday and he is speaking with the regional contact to see if he can learn more..I do know my car was confirmed as the #1 car submitted by the dealer on 3/30 but that is the extent of my knowledge at this point..I will share more when "real" info is available..

My order still is not in the system. Hoping and waiting. I switched to the leather black power interior upgrade, and casino whiter pearl, for now! Under 180K

Wheel choices and brake colors

Decisions!

Decisions!

If you are going with a silver exterior I think the red calipers add a nice touch of zip to a conservative color.
Both wheels look great to me but the polished wheels also add that bit of zip as well.

The exterior is Cassino white pearl ( a grayish white metallic). Thank you for your thoughts. I was thinking silver brakes, and machined wheels, not polished.

Bruce Winter concluded build....subject to change

Cassino Pearl White, full black leather power seats, red calipers, machined interwoven wheels

Order accepted today.4BZG1IQE3N confirmation number

Interesting. Is this from a dealer that already got it's "coverage unit" (first car)? What did they tell you in terms of ETA?

Per Playbook #3 , "As a reminder, all dealers will receive a coverage unit before allocation begins." I had assumed that this meant the biggest dealership would not get his #2 allocation until the smallest dealer's first (and perhaps only) car was being built. It seems unlikely that we are at that point yet (perhaps a month away from that, minimum). It seems that Acura has started to "fill the queue" in anticipation of moving on to building cars beyond the coverage cars....

Any other color or info would be much appreciated.

Congratulations Bruce

I had thought they would shuffle the deck after the coverage unit round.

Maybe it is like the draft and you keep your order.

Kind of simplifies things and allows for a steady flow of orders coming in.

You gave me my first question to the NSX specialist for next week.

My understanding that the #1 nsx will be delivered to my dealer any day....in transit.

Order #2 opened for them.....me. Remember they are holding 50k of my money....non refundable.

Ordered casino white/full black leather interior.

Here is the latest....unique ID number C49

Acura customer service said to lower my expectations, expect a March build, or earlier. Remember this is the second allocation to my dealer, and holding my $50,000 deposit.
