15-20grand for a repaint? are you nuts! thats american money i take it, roughly coming out to 30 grand aussie dollars! my last car was repainted for two pearl custom job ppg paints for$2,600 (normally $6,000) but im sponsored The judges deemed it good enough too win top honda in my state for 2 years running. That was including new seals, windows removed etc. Some extortion going on somewhere!
Ive seen a corvette painted for $20,000 grand australian dollars in a hideous chunky metal flake blue even that wasnt worth the price. The guy even pays $300 everytime a show is on to get it 'professionally' buffed. But he's happy and broke i guess
