Codeblue go bye-bye?

Real story...Real quick..... Ray(2005 Red NSX) puts ad on craigslist to see if there would be any bites in this market-- guy from Cali finds out from friend in N. Cali that Ray's NSX is for sale. Cali guy in Vegas for convention hooks up with Ray and checks out Ray's nice ride-- John(Cali guy) says he's really partial to blue--Ray calls unsuspecting blue NSX owner, who just intended to show John what a Long Beach Blue Pearl garage queen looked like--2 days and 4 hours sleep later, LBBP NSX(legitimately-obtained) is spotted crossing the NV/CA border enroute to a new home. Plans for an older, higher mileage, and modifiable Codeblue2 that can be driven like heck.....??????.....

PS
And then go to the track and let the ponies run with the herd. What a joy it will be for them.

Codeblue

After 18 months of an incredible ownership experience, my beloved 3rd NSX will be California-bound early tomorrow morning after a very pleasant transaction today. I will share details at a later time because I need some sleep.... only 4 hours the past 2 days. I feel at peace though...

Virgil... Wow! I remember meeting you at NSXPO Portland when you just picked it up. Hope you find another one soon. In 6 years, I plan to retire and move to Vegas. That should give you plenty of time to complete CodeBlue2.

I know it's only been about a month since Codeblue2 left the garage, but as Danny can attest, I'm going cuckoo:confused: trying to decide on a replacement ( I know... nice problem to have... ). Maybe y'all can help your brudda out. I'm taking another informal poll. The top 2 contenders at this point are: 1. 2000 Monaco Blue(only 44 made)/Onyx with 37K miles,CTSC by Autowave -- 8/10 condition, will need new wheels and repaint of yellow brake calipers and 2. 2001 Silverstone/Onyx with GTLW exhaust and aftermarket wheels, otherwise stock-- pristine condition. I've gone back and forth with these two for over a week-- with a pros and cons list a 1/4 mile long. Kindly pick one and tell me why. I'd be grateful for either one, of course, but your input would be appreciated! I'm checkin' them out tomorrow a.m. and with your help, might drive one back in the afternoon!!

Well, here's one thing to think about. If you pick the Silverstone, you'll have to change your screen name to 'codegray'.

..... I think this thread is making me more confused... I guess what you are saying is for me to make my best choice and you'll just give me a new name such as CodeFuschia or CodeSkittles:tongue:

We do have a lot of time sitting on our butt thinking about this stuff in the OR. Skip the "code stuff"..it only worked for you and Joe ....how about Silver lining?

Another NSX safely in the garage after a wonderful 4 hour drive from Santa Clarita, California. Former owner was very congenial and took great care of the car. He just happened to be 6ft 7in tall! I'm still amazed how he managed to fit in the car, even with the roof on, and kept the car for 5 years. Hopefully now I can sleep through the night.
