Production complete. Preparing for shipment. Now what???

You didn't order the $16k in upgrades and the dealer just added them on? I had to submit a build sheet, sign it, sign the invoice with the same MSRP as the build sheet and wire $10k before they would accept the order. When I wanted to change the options, I had to resubmit a new build sheet, sign it, and wait 2 weeks for Acura to approve the change. After that process, I would've expected them to get the order right. It's not that big of a deal but it's definitely a smh.
I did fill out the build sheet, signed, submitted the 10k. Never had any communications after that regarding verification of order. Car came in to the dealer with all the upgrades on it. Was told by the dealer the factory changed their policy and they were all being built this way! In the long run I'm probably in a better way but it sure was a funky deal at the end.

There were supply chain issues mid-production. The carbon fiber roof supplier stopped making the non-antenna roof. Thus, Sirius XM became mandatory. Same with the CF engine cover. Your dealer received these notices months ago and apparently neglected to inform you.

That's good to know. The dealer has agreed to not charge me for the options which is a fair resolution.

Signed and paid. Waiting for shipper pickup.

that looks familiar...;)

Trying to understand my window sticker. As mentioned above, I didn't order a CF engine cover but Acura had to install one due to supply chain issues. It looks like they only charged me $750 instead of the normal $3600. This is the same CF engine cover, correct?
