I am getting my TB/WP service done, and also need to have the clutch replaced. I wanted to ask the DIYers what economies can be achieved by doing them both at once, if any? I figured this would be the best group to ask due to first hand experience. I like to be informed when talking to my service tech. Thanks.

Yeah, I knew they were on different sides, just didn't know if dropping the motor and tranny would help to lower the man-hours for the total job. Thanks for the quick response, as I am planning on having the TB/WP and various other small things done tomorrow morning so this is good information to know in the decision making process.

Happy holidays to you!

Sorry, computer is acting up tonight!

I would say it depends on who is doing the work..I personally would not remove the assy from the car unless the heads were being removed for some reason...so for me there is no overlapping labor.
