Clear Bra Group Buy/Install (Los Angeles)

Like to know the brand of the film and thickness pls.

Ok, they use 3M 8mil thickness. You also have the choice of Avery which comes in 8mil or 6mil. your choice again.

Som colors look better with Avery, and some look better with 3M. You can ask Ryan what would be best based on your color, or you can use whichever you want if you are adamant about a particular brand.

FYI.

How long does it take? I have the GT bumper..........looks alot easier to bra on. Do I need to call directly or is this a group day kind of deal?

you can call ryan directly if you like. But we need to figure out how many are involved to see which bracket we fall under.

cool feedback! How clean is the install? also, were they careful around your car? you know how anal we all are:)

The install was very clean. I wasn't monitoring the install, but I'm sure they were careful. Very satisfied.

I'll take Option B with aftermarket front bumper and hood. Do I need to leave my car there or everything can be done within hours?

Something to remember when taking the types of film into account is that the 3M film has a clear coat built into it, while some of the other films do not have this. What this means to the consumer is that the 3M film acts more like your cars paint and can be treated accordingly, while some of the other films that lack the clear coat may appear more optically clear but are more brittle over time and harder to maintain.

I am likely going to do 3m only for more protection. But Ryan said he can put both films on our cars to see which one looks better. I will decide when I am there.

Count is 4 people so far by the way. Any more?
