While the quality looks solid and lots of effort put in the refresh...Did anyone see anything new or interesting in this build? Seems many of us have done all this in our own builds all ready. I was really hoping they would throw out some new ideas.
The start button is the only thing that jumped out to me. With electronic stuff though, there may be a lot of subtle elements that are going on with the wiring that isn't readily apparent. Otherwise, does look pretty text book NSX update.
I knew you'd be involved in this! Will you be able to "borrow" the car and take it out to maybe the PV C&C?
BTW: Can anybody help give some comments on the fitment of those Michelin Cup 2 tires over the DF fenders? really interested in that setup!
Is she single?
Cambo, this car has nothing on your restoration build.:smile:I'm fairly disappointed in this 'build'.
Not with the results, but with the lack of updates. This car has obviously gone through a lot, and is now completed and has been presented to the public. The last video we got was a paint/body short clip on youtube and it didn't show much detail.
This thread has been largely forgotton about. Not really anything close to what I'd call a "full build thread" at this stage.
High praise! Thanks so much.Cambo, this car has nothing on your restoration build.[emoji2]
Yes I agree. The car looks beautiful and remodeled, like all nsx's should be. But the only pics I really ever see for it hit Instagram first. They started this build thread really well. Then like flipping a switch, it was done. Kinda makes you wonder if this is even the same car.High praise! Thanks so much.
I am not so much knocking their car though, more the lack of detailed updates.
Quick Q: what makes this roller type dyno better than say hub mounted dynapack?
Still trying to figure out the rear wheel/tire size on this.
The guys at EuroBoutique make a pretty sweet center console trim with a recess for a double din radio that significantly reduces glare...@Clarion,
Make the nsx community a double din head unit which is 1 inch recessed or has a decent reverse tilt. I will buy one immediately as I am quite sure you will find out just how bad glare is in our nsx. Even with 5% tint and windows up it still glares some. Other than that, lets see the build progress.
interested in this!
Also, if you guys need any SCW NSX GT products we manufacture, happy to pitch in for this build!
I agree, I am running 25mm overstock size fenders and my wheel is 9.5 width with a much more aggressive offset, 50mm would require different wheel offset to sit the way it looks on the pictures posted. The downforce fenders are 2" wider? that's 50 mm. I think you have your numbers wrong. It might be closer to 10-15mm. Unless you have something I don't know about but it looks like the stadard fender. Who picked this tire sizing if I may ask. This sounds like a lot of info is coming from right here on prime.

With an HD backup camera input option of VGA or HDMI instead of composite video for us Gaugeart guys.....!!!
I hope that last pic was a test fit. Someone forgot to put the panels in otherwise.....LOL.
