Hey I just checked out the second one. This seems to be less questionable to me. 79K miles on a '96 for $40K? That doesn't seem that unreasonable to me. What makes you think it's a scam ?[/COLOR]
He was talking about that Autotrader scumbag listing a car for $19,800 with the pictures from the legit eBay listing. The scum's phone # is listed as 323-887-4430 and email addy is [email protected].

Autotrader is useless. Last time I tried to sell a car, the only leads I got were from scammers. I fought and fought with them to get my money back and to take my ad down. They finally gave in after telling me that they dont' take action against scammers.

Autotrader sucks....use ebay......its cheaper, has less scammers (but there are some), and has more exposure than Autotrader.

I called the Autotrader sellers phone number and it was a senior group home. They have no clue what I'm talking about. This is so funny, what would people do to rip off other people who fall for this trash.

Its the same car!

Turn it in to the FBI Internet Fraud Division in your city. I did that for two different '03 Hummers I found to be complete scams. One in LA and one in Louisiana. In those two cases the owner was claiming to have been transferred to London, and you were asked to pay $2k to arrange a test drive of a vehicle that supposedly was in a paid parking area. Same story in both cases with two diff email addresses and diff names.

Be careful out there kids!

I emailed this guy and got back some sob story about how he is in another state because his son is in the hospital and he can not call anyone back. He wanted like a 20% down payment and then he would deliver the car to you blah blah blah...

I will give the scammers some credit for at leat coming up with a creative story.

The one listed on Ebay seems like a pretty good deal with a buy it now of $35995. Considering someone is trying to sell a 92 on here for $32900. The 92 has less milage but to have a 96 T for only 3K seems worth it doesn't it?
