Bypassing your EGR?

Are there any other problems associated with bypassing the EGR other than the check engine light and the ECU going into safe mode? Do you simply "plug" the littile pipe that leads to the intake manifold? What do you do with the engine crankcase breathers? Would doing something like this keep intake temps down?

Thanks! -Brad

I removed the EGR valve to plumb in a crankcase vent into a catch tank. Just make sure to plug the line leading to the intake chamber or you will get a check engine light.

I took my EGR and put a block off plate and the check engine light is on. They tould me it was good to have the EGR cause it cools down the cylinders. Ok what do I need to plug off the intake to take off the check engine light. I have a 92 nsx does the check engine light pull timming or ignition.
