Good! I previously owned an s2k and found that it was just too common. I like the idea of having a car that is not only nice to look at but also relatively rare.

I believe they are selling roughly 10,000 S2000s per year in the United States. (Exact figure for the 2002 calendar year was 9,684, for 2001 was 9,682.)

They are selling around 200 NSXs per year in the States these days. (Corresponding figures are 233 for calendar 2002 and 182 for 2001.)

I believe they sell something on the order of 30,000 Corvettes each year. I'm sure someone can provide an accurate number...

I usually see at least 1 a day in my area. Those are nice cars. On our last S2000/NSX Drive the S2Ks had us NSXs beat by almost 3-1.

But it is true, I probably see about 2-3 C5 Vetts a day. A lot more if you count the older styles. However, I'm starting to see alot more 350Zs and G35 Coupe than S2ks though.

I bought my NSX after seeing 4 s2k's in a 5-mile stretch of sttreet here in Overland Park, KS. This is, however, what I would consider a "Honda town".

WhenI bought my s2k, I was told that the world-wide sales would be no more than 5000/yr.

It's also possible that sunny/seaside places get more S2000 in relationship to other areas being convertibles (maybe in Fla or SouthCal there are as many S2000 than Vettes  )...
