breaking in timing belt

I'm getting my 60K and timing belt done - it should be ready this afternoon.

Are there any recommendations on taking it easy for some period afterwards?

(I'll be driving it back 50 miles right away.)

There are no break in procedures for a new belt. Had mine done last year by the dealer and there is nothing that needs to "bed in" like brake pads or fresh piston rings.

Who's doing it and what's the break down $$ of parts and labor there.

Thanks,

My NSX tech said to go have fun the moment I get my car back. Drove it 50 miles to get home and then spent the weekend at an open track event. No problems.

I paid close to $1200 for the service and that included the updated waterpump and revised cover.

Thanks,

Crown Acura, Greensboro and they gave me 30% off parts.

Quoted 60K at Labor $497 Parts $247
Quoted Timing Belt/Water Pump w/new cover at Labor $466 Parts $338

I also had some other stuff done and they forgot to charge for the timing belt or water pump, but they are supposed to check into that.
