BBSC with a Twist

What about posting the cost of what it would take to make this power.

1) AEM
2) BBSC 12 lbs
3) Aftercooler
4) Alcohol Injection
5) headers
6) exhaust
etc.
etc.

We are talking what? $15-20K?

I thought you upgraded the Head Gaskets?

Apparently another famous BBSC NSXer's motor was used for the One Lap contest with a 14lbs pulley. The HG went after the first few races.

Well it looks like you have one bad ass machine that should easily eclipse your old car. Congrats!

If anyone is interested in a similar setup, PM me.

Curious as to the following , if you look at the overlay dyno you see a dip at around 4800 rpm which is due to the vtec , does anyone know what causes the dip at about 4200?It is prominent in all the SCs except the CTSC.

Does that have anything to do with VVIS?

Actually, on a stock NSX, VTEC transition occurs at 5800 RPM and VVIS is around 4800 RPM. So the dip at 4800 RPM might have to do with VVIS. I'm not sure what the deal is with the one at 4200 RPM.

BTW Armando, the MiamieNeSeX looks better than ever.

The car feels Amazing! I drove it last week and I was amazed at the torque, the car is a BEAST! Let's see how it does on the track next week.

I have 3 words for you BBK "Big Brake Kit"

MiamieNeSeX,

Do you have the knock sensor feedback enabled? Or were they disabled for the dyno run? If you do have the feedback enabled, would you mind sharing your settings?

Did you have the AEM log one of the dyno runs? Care to share the AFR/Load/Timing plots? If you don't have the time, send the datafile to me and I'll run the AEMLog program against them to generate the JPG's and send them back to you.

Cheers,

-mike

I dont think I would want to try making pulls while tuning and have the knock sensors disabled. send me your contat info and I will send you one of the data logs.
