In my glove box.
Goodie. :smile:In my glove box.
Please be there by 8:30 as we need to have a drivers meet and leave by 9:00 SHARP. This is very important for our restaurant reservations. They are roping off an area for us to park and giving us the whole patio with view of the lake so I don't want to be late.
...........and this is why Socal is the best! Please find the time to thank them for setting all this up. As for Les, pls give him a swift kick in the nutz for me.JonathAn, don't worry. II haven't made them yet and will be printing off Les's list, to add the names to that tags. As long as he has it spelled correctly (and he does) I will too. And, no, you didn't ask for a name tag for your friend.

9doors Nick and Patty, Are you sure you aren't coming?
Unfortunately I'd say we're 95% out. Won't know for sure until Sat. We will of course see you in the future, so if you just want to do our name tags and hold onto them till we see you next, that'd be great.

Is this everybody, or just somebody?
That would have been awkward if bunch of us showed up in our NSX's.

BTW, I asked the organizer of a Miata group run if he minded if I joined with my S2000, last month, after I saw a post on Prime about the meet, that invited NSXs. He hesitated to answer long enough that I knew he wasn't keen on the idea so I politely didn't push it and understood that he didn't want to be rude but also would rather I didn't join. I didn't.
When I showed up (with my NSX ) for the 7/8 Miata/Sky/Solstice run Neal (event coordinator) told me that a woman from the NSX group had called and asked about joining. Neal was confused because I had not told him that I invited the NSX club (my bad for not telling him) and hesitated in answering. I'm sorry that I did not tell Neal in advance. In any event his response should have been an enthusiastic "yes" since it is the mission of the san diego miata club to promote the club and its activities-----and there is no better way to do it than by joining a club run. I'm sorry that you were not enthusiastically welcomed and let me apologize Patty from the bottom of my heart for Neal's hesitation.
First time post. Got first nsx 3 weeks ago. Can I go? If so plus one.
Mike
Plus one would be joanna
Thanks
I seriously wish I could go on this run. I've been to Big Bear many times but never up to Arrowhead or up the back way. Oh well. I'll either end up going by myself or I'm sure Les will run this route again some time in the future. I hope all of you have an "AWESOME" time.....(I'm sure you will) BE SAFE !!!
I wish you were going, too! I used to do this drive with my ex husband with both of our S2000s. It's a fun road up there.

hi Patty, Les....actually just put me down as solo.
I should also leave my name tag in the glove as well, good idea!
Now that I see the totally awesome new name tags I'm changing my plans and coming on the drive (not) The drive "might" be awesome but YOU TOTALLY ARE AWESOME !!!! That is a very nice thing you are doing for everybody. You deserve a big "THANK YOU" !!!
Yes, thanks Patty for the name tags past and future. Much appreciated.
