The App is called Speedometer - Speed Limit Alert, Trip Cost Computer... and it's by Stanislav Dvoychenko. As far as I know, it's only for iPhone. I've used it for years and it's awesome. The track of our trip you saw in the first image was created by this app. It does just about everything you could want.

The mount is an iMagnet (http://www.imagnetmount.com/). It is a suction cup mount that also works very well.
