AP-X OBDII resonated test pipes and Hi-Flow cats

Is there any pictures of the installation of these test pipes?

I've heard youtube vids but wanted to see how they are installed....

Yes, they are a direct replacement for the OEM cats + adapter pipes that you may have - on cars that are using cats + adpater pipes, my test pipes reduce the hardware required to almost 1/2, this not only simplifies install but it also reduces the number of joints that can possibly introduce leaks and/or turbulence.

Angus thanks, I want a set for sure - just give me some time :)

thanks!

s4play, I'll be ripping up the west coast in 2 weeks if you want to hear them and see them in real life! Haha. And we could almost have a twin-photoshoot!

opinions on Resonated test pipes for '95-'99 cars?

one of these days Id like to get some kind of test pipes.

I was having a LOT of fun on those roads... but it was a state park, and there were lots of people/traffic, so I kept her pretty tame. Figured it still gives everyone an idea as to how the header/testpipe/exhaust sounds though.

+ 1 for being safe but perhaps you could video at take off or higher RPM.

Next time I take mine out I'll try to remember to bring my camera and get some tunnels.

Last time I buzzed one it was earsplittingly awesome.

thanks!!

PS I would recommend you both write a review for him, I see QPDO already did, but I think i just saw a thread only for consumer reviews.

If the weather is nice when I get back this weekend, the car is scheduled for a proper video shoot with a local videographer... I'll keep you all posted!

When I had the GTLW the resonated test pipes eliminated almost all of the rasp it had.

You can hear it in the video I posted a few pages back.

With the AP-X exhaust I have now it just sounds amazing.

Went for a drive today, camera decided not to focus for some reason, but I guess it doesn't really matter since it's more about the sound.

Hello Angus

Any update on 02-05 (LEV) test pipes?

Avail?
Fitment?
CEL issues?

I wanted to report that the RTP and high flow cats for LEV cars do not cause CEL and have passed emissions testing here without issue.

Hello Angus
Not sure if you missed my question above.

Are NA2 LEV test pipes or high flow cats still available?
Please pm me some prices.

Ty

I know you cannot compare an nsx to the natural sound of a ferrari v8 but after my buddy installed his capristo, ive never been able to hear my car again while driving together and mine use to be much louder!!

for 95-99,

what will give you the louded set up using stock heads and taitec gt ltwt exhaust?

thanks,

ps what does everyone mean by the rasp sound?

what do you think adding your resonated pipes will do to mine?
