Just followed a 997 Turbo today on my way to work. One burned out HID headlight, 1 messed up LED tail light (it was on the bright braking mode all the time). Made me wonder, are these cars electrical nightmares? It gave me flashbacks of my BMW M car days....

I guess the guy has been to busy blowing the doors off of everyone in Ottawa to notice that a couple bulbs were not working.

But you say that he had a burnt out headlight. You must have noticed that in your rearview first, and then noticed his burnt out rear as it disappeared off in the distance way way way ahead of you.
 
No, the Porsche's aren't known for being problematic with electrics.
