Any other recommendations for stainless steel brake lines other than SOS

Everybody seems to like the pedal feel after getting SS lines. I've come across different brands online.

Any suggestions? SOS' have vinyl coating but is there a better option?

What do you guys use?

*edit* For street use only. Just want to improve the pedal feel to something firmer. I'm about to replace all 4 rotors, another set of Hawk HPS pads, new ATE superblue fluid.*

besides the fine options listed on this thread goodridge which makes lines for many different cars has a set for the nsx.

I just installed Russell lines on mine. They meet DOT requirements(even says they are street legal) and they have a protective coating over the SS braid, which is very important for preventing failure and allows for longevity. They are less than half the price of those P2F ones and will work just the same. Great quality for the price.

Got mine from nolimitmotorsport.com. IIRC they price matched the cheapest place I could find them.

How do SS brake lines "feel"?
Is it kinda of a off/on feeling?
How do people like it for a street setup?

i have them (the sos ones),they give a bit firmer pedal feel than oem,i like it fine for my street driving.i don't think it's my imagination that they are firmer, the mechanic, who was an experienced nsx guy, said they would do that. it still feels smooth and progressive, though, no on/off feeling

Take a closer look. the vinyl protective coating over the SS is for keeping the dirt out and make it easy to clean. Not preventing failure. Our 2nd layer - Kevlar and the 3rd layer - insulator/UV/Heat is what set our lines apart from the rest thus the price difference. You can always find plenty inexpensive SS line as they have been make the same kind for a long time. (not saying they will fail early, many race teams use them and usually they throw them away after one season as they are not expensive to replace)
Value and price are not the same.

I doubt Liftnot can answer but what can be said about the layers of SOS's lines for example or Goodridge?

Not going to comment on other vendor's product. The SS line we had, they kinked too easy prompted us to look elsewhere and found thy 5-layer DOT type. you have to make your own judgement. We did not make this product to be like everyone else as there is no point cuz they have been making the same thing for many many years.

The vinyl layer prevents dirt and debris from entering the braid which in turn *helps* prevent premature wear and failure. It is certainly better than not having it at all. For your average Joe mainly putting street miles and maybe a few HPDE's on, they are likely more than enough. For longer, more frequent track events requiring more demand and strain, I'd consider something with a bit more protection.
