Thanks for posting it. The Insight was an interesting choice. Very insightful. A friend has one and it is a fascinating example of early hybrid tech. Kind of cool looking, too, in a retro-future sort of way.

I believe, also being of aluminum construction, they were built on the same assembly lines as the NSX. There's a perfect red one locally and I swear it looks like Formula Red.

I've never seen a red one. That sounds cool. All the ones I've seen were that silver color or light metalic blue.

They were built in the Suzuki plant. NSX's were also built there starting in 2004, although I don't know if they were built on the same line.

BTW, the Insight was the first hybrid sold in the U.S. and I think it may have been the last car sold in the U.S. with wheel spats.
