zahntech said:You would think that anyone with the funds to own/drive that car would have it regularly maintained and therefore fuel leak free
Hugh said:Being regularly maintained has nothing to do with it. Ferraris and Lambos are junk pure and simple and any one of them could sponstaneously combust without warning. You can wrap a piece of shit in pretty coachwork but underneath, it's still a piece of shit.

i drive some of his exotics weekly to keep them running, this lambo hadnt been driven in 3 years so cecile has a guy change the battery and says its fine to drive, so im driving it myself and im head to bal harbor when i noticed the gauge cluster died and im like wtf, and almost seconds after that i smelled electrical fire and by the time i pulled over the back end of car was on fire and i called 911 and tried to find a fire extinguisher but no luck and by the time the fire truck got there the car was totaled
anywas ill post my phone pics of the car on fire later"

MiamieNeSeX said:Well opinions are like Ass &*s everyone (except Hugh) has one. While the NSX has many merits , to simply say that "all" Italian cars are POS is an incorrect generalization.(Enzo,Galardo,Miura) PS. Is that thing under your rear glass to keep up with those "Italian Cars" or is it just to cover up the 6 cylinder under there?

Apparently it is a faulty oil line.
and this one
AU_NSX said:Yes it is a generalisation to say all Italian cars are POS... There are some exceptions but in general most of them are POS. I don't think I'm incorrect in saying that.
Now that "thing" under the LEXAN is there not to keep up with any car in particular but I have found on the track that Italian cars are not that fast. Porsches, Skylines, WRX's and Lotus's etc all seem to be faster than any Italian car out there. I've never had an Italian car come close in any event.
Having said that, I've never come up against an Enzo either... But on paper I should be able to hold my own.
We might find out soon... I'm thinking of shipping my NSX to Dubai! There are some new racetracks around the UAE here and monthly track events...
