Being regularly maintained has nothing to do with it. Ferraris and Lambos are junk pure and simple and any one of them could sponstaneously combust without warning. You can wrap a piece of shit in pretty coachwork but underneath, it's still a piece of shit.
Yes it is a generalisation to say all Italian cars are POS... There are some exceptions but in general most of them are POS. I don't think I'm incorrect in saying that.
I'd love to hear your list of exceptions. I'll bet the F-430 was on that list until you saw the photo posted above of the silver one that had magically transformed itself into a marshmallow roasting pit. By the way, that car looks like it was brand new with a temporary license tag on it.

Actually, the "list" of exceptions was me thinking about all the Ferrari F1 cars they made which were faster and more reliable than anything else out there over the last 6-7 years!...
Then I remembered that all the Ferrari F1 cars since 1993 have all had Honda engines in them!
