so something went wrong during the throttle body cleaning?

Success, I got an SOS Throttle Body today and put it right in. The car idles perfect (although it did stumble once and shut off).

I've only had the car for 2 months. When I first got it, it was idling very erratically. I removed the throttle body and drowned it in carb cleaner. When I reinstalled it, it was idling at 1500 rpm. all along, the car accelerated just fine. Very smooth. So, yes I probably botched it, but the car has 133k miles and the throttle body was filthy.

Nope -- did that a number of years ago to actually run at above standard sea level atmospheric pressure (~250 below sea level.) Couldn't detect any difference and never noticed the engine bay fan turn on. :smile:

Ha! Did you make that run with the RDX injector kit? Curious how they did with more air pressure.
