I'm not sure what that means, "watch your own back", I hope it doesn't mean like it sounds.
What does Tamoske have to do with me? I haven't and won't be collecting a dime on this. I just organized a discount for everyone, and it is going through a top advan dealer in the country who is authorized and reputable. I'm not in Lithuania taking money for parts I haven't made. You can call the national advan distributor and ask him, they are aware of what is going on.
This is no different than if the guys wanted to go on their own and buy wheels through an authorized advan dealer.... Except that now because of the group buy and participation they get a great discount.
I was told there would need to be a minimum of participants to get this pricing. So I ensured that not only we had that number, but way above and beyond that number so that even some people drop out, it won't affect anybody. I assure everyone we are very solid, I just do not need another single buyer by any means, but I don't want to leave anyone out.

Hey why don't you get the 9.5" rear? Is it bc only one offset (+45) is available? You could still run a 255 on that and your offsets front and rear would match perfectly if you got 17x8 +45 fronts -and your contact patches would be altered by almost the same amount front and rear. Plus even though the 9" is lighter it could look wider, depending on how much you care about looks vs performance. 9.5 would be a good compromise with the ideal matching offsets for performance... That's what I am thinking. Thoughts anyone?
Do you know the exact weight of the 9 vs 9.5 vs 10" rears ?

Yes, because the 9.5 is only 45. Also 45 front will most likely not clear stoptechs, I am trying to get a 100% answer on that now. It's looking more like in order to ensure clearance for everything, and for I'd say 90% of people on this list, the combo will end up being 17x8 ET 37 front and 18x10 ET 35 rear. Both are pretty flush, both are GTR face, both keep track ratio similar to stock (although wider), and both clear any BBK I know of.
If you are super low, ET 45 front will probably give more fender clearance.

I think I can speak for most if not all that we really appreciate you sticking with it. You put a lot of time and effort on this project.
Thanks Les. I really didn't know it would require this much work. I have put in 50-60 hours into this EASILY. It really has hampered my dayjob. I would be lying if I didn't say sometimes I just wanted out, but I can't tell anyone "find the answers to that question on your own"... or "No, it's too late for you". Tech support is easy for 3-5 people. For 40+, plus S2K owners, it gets overwhelming.
But that's not what really got to me... An order this size causes much "behind the scenes" B.S. There are quite a few unhappy people right now. That's really all I can say about it. And I have had to deal with the repurcussions of that. I wish I could just come out and tell everyone everything but I can't. There are awesome guys on this board who PM'ed me and supported me... and I really appreciated that. No one really dropped out, and I appreciated that. Just tells me guys on this board have integrity and they recognize when someone works hard for them and is honest with them.
So getting back to the subject at hand... one question that has come up has to do with the concave of this wheel. Does it change with wheel width on this wheel. In other words, is an 18x9 wheel et35 less concave than an 18x10 et35. The answer is no. More material is added behind the center section where the wheel bolts up. That gets thicker, pushing the center out more, keeping the concave the same.
So to those guys that have a concern that if they go with a 9" they will have less concave, or if they go with an 11" they will have more, it doesn't matter. The asterisk denotes GTR face. It's the same face on the various widths. This info was given to me today by the rep for Mackin, the U.S. distributor for Advan.
I am still trying to get final BBK clearances on various offsets. Some "expert" vendors are over-estimating required offsets to cover their ass with certain BBK's. I just don't like not being precise. So I will get to the bottom of every application.

I personally don't care at all if more NSX owners own that wheel. It's different cars, different colors combos. Although 39 sounds like a lot of people, like 6-7 are S2K's. And 30 people even on this small forum, is not a lot of people. A lot of people is 225 that have bought the guppy antenna. I feel like everyone got one except me. LOL...
