Advan AVS Model 5's, where are you at?

Beautiful ! Nice side splitter teaser

+1. I think we need to develop some sort of regulatory body/organization from preventing such chaos and model 5 market volatility.

haha you guys kill me. Decided to unload a couple of my 17/18 sets now that I sold my Berlina and went aggressive with the high spoiler... the 18/19 fits my car better now.

Couple from a meet I stopped at yesterday...

Anyone gone w/ 205/45R17 front tire for their 17" front Model-5 wheel? Any rubbing experienced? If-so, what was the width of the wheel (ie. 7", 8", etc), offset of the wheel (ie. 35mm 38mm, 40mm, etc) & suspension setup (ie. stock/near-stock, lowered, slammed).

Front tire sizes for 17" wheels applicable to NSX fitment (ideally 215/40R17 & the like) are becoming a challenge when it comes to quality spec tires...

After a 3 month nightmare I finally got all 4 wheels. I will get them on tomorrow or sometime next week. I will take a few photos when I get them slapped on.SAM_0249.jpg

^^ Awesome!!

I should have mine back from refinishing next week!!! Used a completely different shop after having countless significant issues with my previous shop after they brought in new mgmt.

Here's a recent pic of mine..

Analyzing my fronts. Do you guys think these are ok or too aggressive? There's a mini-poke although I can make it disappear based on how I angle my cellphone camera.

I have 3mm spacers on both sides that I had to put in because my passenger front bbk was hitting the wheel on application of the brakes. 1mm spacer would have been enough--that's how close it was.

I am on a Zanardi suspension.

What's your take? Ok or solutions if any?

beauty! any direct profile side shots?!

Apparently not. When I take my car to Exotics @ Redmond Town Center (where most of my pics come from) We're always parked at an angle next to other cars so it's not easy to take a direct side shot.

WOW. and a 215 front can stretch without issues on that wheel?

while im no expert, i think an 18x8 front would be a more 'comfortable' setup.

I believe they are 18x9 35mm with the Dali 3.2mm spacers.

No, he's running 18x8 38mm offset with a 215 35 18 I believe. Same exact setup Synth is running.

If you feel its too aggressive, you probably can source the 1mm spacers you say you'd need. You could also drop the car some more and would attain some more negative camber, but I would say your setup is the farthest thing from overly-aggressive and shouldn't be experiencing any rub.

What colour do you guys think will go good on spa? At first I almost wanted to do white model 5's but I think it won't suit the design of the wheel. I wonder how Silverstone would look?

A slight hair darker then oem hyper silver. Or just hyper silver. I would get the finish as glossy as possible as well.

White is eh on Model 5's... too many details for white.

Agree with myw.... a bright/slightly darker silver looks amazing on these wheels. Ozone's looked good in gunmetal, but that much more amazing in bright silver on the yellow.

Chris do you know anybody who makes a 1MM spacer? I found 2.4 and 3.2 MM on Dali site (the 2.4 was for the rear so I got the fronts--not sure if there is a difference). Also, how much of a drop could I go without rub? Thanks for the correction.
