Holy Crap!
OEM struts had 125K on them with some CE 28's wrapped in Yoko S-Drives.

Picked up the car yesterday after getting new Bilsteins and AD08's put on and what a differance. Super happy with the setup.

I would think its a night and day difference, you must be giddy.

The only thing I hate about making dramatic changes to tires/wheels and shocks at the same time is, you don't get a sense of how much of the difference is due to the new tires, vs how much the new shocks. But both are substantial improvements! Congratulations, and enjoy!

i have AD08 and Bilsteins... car handles quite well :)

hope you get to enjoy yours, mine are on the lowered perch

Very much so Doc.

I would love to do one at a time changes, but its my DD and only car, so since it was up in the rack for the shocks, tire store is at the other end of the complex, it was time for new tires and rain is coming to SoCal (I know this is not a rain tire, but its better then a spent tire), I did both.

I'll credit the shocks for overal increase in firmness and the grip to the tires. I'm sure the AD08's will go off quick enough:rolleyes: and maybe I'll get a sence of just exaclty what the shocks broght to the table.

Just for a total picture, I committed the crime of the upper pearch and still very happy.

By putting the S.drives back on? No! No! Don't do it!

LOL, just an FYI, you are a large part reason I went with the tire and size that I did (went back down from 275 to 265 in the rear).

Over the years I have come to view you as an EF Hutton of NSX. When you talk, I listen. You don't just say do this, you say why and list the pros and cons of zigging or zagging. Thanks for continuing to share even though (if memory serves) you sold yours.

nsxtasy will be back, just a matter of time.
