Anyone knows how to reset the ABS & TCS lights ?
I tried to take the clock fuse out and leave it out for 5mins but still wont work. I swapped a chip (dinan chip) yesterday and today when I started the car all the lights came on then off but ABS & TCS lights staying on, I check all my tires air and they are low but after put more air and reseted the ecu still same problems.

i have the same problem. how do you "reset" the ECU and where is it at? Also, you pulled out the "clock" fuse and let it sit off for 5 minutes. Thats just the normal clock right and not some funky/different name for another part?

thanks

check the fuses. I took my fuses out to stop the whhheeeeeerrrr noise and the lights both came on. Not too sure of the exact fuses but when I put them back in the lights went off. Hope thats all it is.

Have you driven the car with the warning lights on? Did they remain on throughout the drive also?
Yes I did check the air from all the tires and they are all low on airs, but lights still staying on after I put more air in 32 front tires and 42 rear tires.
Yes, I did drive the car while the lights are on. The car drive normal but sometime its jerking for couple of second then back to normal

deedubb,
Did you upgrade anything before the problem happpened (brakes/rotors change, messing with ecu, headers install) ?
I just pulled out the ECU cables, the ECU is located behind the passenger seat, you have to pull the upper panel out before you can see it.
Yes, its just a regular clock fuse. Easier to do that then pull the negative cable on the battery.
Good luck man.

Thanks for the reply. The lights were solidly on the car when i bought it. I was given no explanation for this. Could have been due to the fact that the wheels were upgraded when i bought it. No biggie, i just get a bit tired of looking at the orange lights or having people say "whats wrong with your car?" when they see them on all the time

don't mess with air pressure on the tires, nothing to do with that (?? come-on!!)
don't mess with fuses, nothing to do with that
don't mess with ECU, nothing to do with that

This is what I did with the same problem :

there is a bad connection in the taillight assy. With bad I don't mean open. Just a little oxydized is enough to create some electric restriction there for the sensor to react. Just look for the wiring harness and try that connection first. use some sandpaper, contact spray, ... anything to have a good connection. Then the lamps, same here, my lightbulb sockets were 'white-oxydized'. At the end I ended up buying new wire harness for the taillight assy 60 to 70$ if I remember right.

This should clear the problem.
