If the compression dropped due to incorrect timing, wouldn't that imply the valves are not seated properly? Would that cause burn valves also?

Yes, I'm afraid that I'm not very technical but as I understand the problem the first shop that did all of my work last year didn't correctly adjust the timing belt such that the rear cam timing was off a tooth. I might be mis stating that, but I'm told it's a little tricky to do right if you don't have experience doing the timing belt on an NSX and even John Martin told me that twice in the past he's thought he had it right only to restart the car and have to pull things back apart again to get it right.Jin1976 said:Did you find the cause of the rough idle?
