Thanks for all your help guys, I'm disappointed that the car is in such horrible condition, I wish the owner didn't waste my time to begin with.

He didn't care that we was wasting your time. Obviously he was trying to unload a POS on you and were hoping you wouldn't do any research and find that out. Luckily you took the advice of some veteran members here and did that very thing(research) and saved yourself some serious heartache and major financial troubles in the very near future.

Reminds me of one of the first NSX's I went to look at. Drove 300+ miles to find out that his "everything is stock/perfect line" was utter BS.
