I chose my 02 NSX over the 911 TT. The only thing in the Pcar line that is of interest to me is the GT3. The rest of them can continue to be bought and painted pink by fairies like Red for all I care.
I can somewhat see where he is coming from. I am really itching for another X, some of you guys calling me doesn't help either, but it all depends on where I want to go with it. Some of you know that can exceed the cost of lets say an 07 Z06 WITH WARRANTY ($60K-70K). I had well over that in my X without warranty. No doubt the X is awesome, but financially these days there may be some other options that may be more interesting. And this is the problem I face. If i buy another X, I will boost it again, 300hp is just not enough these days. Especially when you have stangs and civics already pushing those numbers. I'm kinda torn between the 2.........
Let me know next time you find a deal like that!!! Tell you what John - I will buy it from you for $25k!!! That is a 25% gain after driving the car for a year.
Buy an Ariel Atom for $50,000 and an early NSX for $30,000. The Atom will be faster than the Z06 and you still have the NSX for leisurely cruises.
$80 000 and I can have one car that kicks some serious ass!
When you see Joe Blow tell him I said he's a BAFOON! I like apples and I like oranges. EACH has their use in life. The TL is a nice car. Just can't remember the last time I saw one racing down the front stretch hitting 220km/h and then doing hard on threshold braking to enter turn one at 150 - over and over and over I might add. TL is like my S60R (well sort of - slower). A nice ride with quality and some pep for driving the family and friends around. I'm sure your buddy pics up chicks with the family sedan all the time compared to you with the exotic.....So I'm having this Acura conversation with some TL advocates, and stated my outspoken viewpoint of how excited I am about getting my 92, '94, or later NSX.
This jo blo states how getting an NSX "is so not worth it.. "
When they come over to my house again this week, any suggestions on how to rebut, retort this statement without asking them to "leave" .. heh

Hey Blade...your post reminds me of my Political Science Degree when I studied political philosophy - who thought that we would equate Thomas Aquinas to owning an NSX...lol...just think what we could do with Plato's Allegory of the cave and NSX ownership!!

But when we ascend from the cave into the sun...then do we not discover the "true and perfect" form?...Just think...we could drive the most perfect form of the NSX...lol...and to think that I thought that I already owned the NSX in its perfect form...lol.

I also can use my education to talk about the NSX...

Not quite as elegant as you guys, haha.

I paid $35K for mine, and what I got is a technological marvel and a whole gaggle of semi-reputable friends.
That reminds me of when I was modelling the shoulder mathematically for my thesis, and I remember trying to Integrate sleep dx in my head so I could fall asleep. You need a break Arshad. Now get to work on those graphics we need instead!
