I'm posting on behalf of a friend that has a '95 NSX. He got his hands on somes headers from a newer NSX, a '01 I believe. He was asking me whether there will be gains if he swapped his headers out for this one. Is there? Another question he has is whether it will be a direct bolt on application? Any information will be greatly appreciated!!!!

Ryan,

Yes, he will most likely see a gain as the NA2 headers are more efficient than the iron manifolds. As an added benefit, they are also lighter.

If I had to make a guess, I'd guestimate about a 10-15 HP gain.

I assume he means OEM "headers" from the 3.2L (97+ manual shift), in which case I'm not sure if they will fit.

Does the 97+ 3.0L motor (automatic) also come with more efficient "headers", replacing the inefficient (and heavy) OE exhaust manifolds? If so, these SHOULD fit.
