3.5L NSX engine

Service Manager at South Bay Acura did it to his black NSX. However, I think it displaced only 3.4 or 3.3. Jon was at NSXPO.

I think Toda Racing has the 3.5L kit for NSX. Did you know anyone who has mod their engine to this kit. I am thinking upgrade my NSX or getting a F355 F1.

Factor X Motorsports is working on one as we speak.

FYI, the JGTC GT500 class NSX's are displacing 3.5 liters ALL MOTOR. It is rumored to put out in excess of 600HP without restrictor plate. But as far as durability and driveability goes (not to mention the cost of building and maintaining this engine has got to be astronomical  !!), it won't last anywhere as long as a street car should. Plus I doubt the JGTC motor can be mated to a street production NSX chassis and drivetrain (Hewland six speed seq. is used btw). The 3.5 liter Toda C32B motor maybe on the same boat too. If I'm not mistaken, this motor is built to cater the GT300 class privateering (ie. not factory sponsored) NSX racing team in the JGTC series.

In JGTC the engine is actually rotated 90 degrees!

The 3.5L engine can produce 350-375 horsepower. It can be produced more hp by installed the Individual Throttle Bodies with the Hondata CPU, cam, campully. the hp range should be 450-475hp..wow....this is NA not turbo/supercharge.

AKAIK Hondata doesn't even have do the NSX ECU. Where do you get your info? But even if they do, I wouldn't bother with a re-burned "fixed" ECU when full standalones are available, and now affordable.

I think the Motec has one....it is better to change whole ECU

Not from the cutaway drawings I've seen. I know the engine was rotated on the Le Mans turbo car but as far as I've seen, the JGTC engine is in it's stock NSX configuration.

I reserve the right to amend the above statement at any time. ;)
