Make sure you cheat and put race gas in your car.
Never trust a mustang owner.

a stock mustang GT will never hit 168 mph stock like our cars can. they'll have a hard time doing 155mph.
Loser has to put a note on their rear window that says "I got smoked by a Ford" or "I got smoked by a Honda", depending on who wins.
He just got his mustang, and has never owned a car with any power before. This makes me more confident
...simply because he just got it 2 months ago and is not used to the power yet. ......
... make him sign a waver or something that is not your fault if he spun ...
I'd be more concerned about him losing control and taking the both of you out during the run.
A STRAIGHT LINE race is not one you want to entertain with a car that has twice the displacement as you.
I would like to witness this, as I'm local.
Why even bother, just do it on a computer simulation or something. If its not from a standing start, its not a race...We tossed around a few ideas, but came to the conclusion that we would do straight a 40mph-125mph run. -side.

+1! yea no doubt he could be running the juice... u never know
FWIW, my brothers 2006 Mustang pulled 290rwhp with a tuner, UD pulley and a CAI....You cannot possibly lose ths race. The Mustang isn't putting down more than 240 to the wheels assuming a reasonable drivetrain loss of 20% and the car weighs over 3,500 pounds.
You had a Prius in your closed race course?
Yeah- I'm still trying to nail down a venue. I'd ask him and his Mustang buddies, but they'd probably just want to do it on the street....which is NOT going to happen.
Maybe we should just go to the drag strip and do a few runs. Is Joliet the closest one to Chicago?

From a standing start this is going to be a pretty good race, with the odds in the NSX's favor though.
Did I say I was in a closed race course?
When that happened with the Prius, my attention focused from beating the Mustang to driving behind the Prius with both of my HID high beam and HID PIAA driving light on.
That prius was lite up inside the cabin. I was on the driver side mirror. It tried to accelerate from me to get away.
Sorry, but a Prius is like a single prop plane versus a F16..... ur not going to get away.
That continued for 5 miles.
the mustang guy wanted to give the Prius some words too by getting on the passenger side mirrors with the high beam.
People that drive hybrids from my experience are not very mindful of the diverse speeds. they spend more time looking at the gauges and monitoring the MPG while they drift into a fast lane.
