2006 ACURA Sports Car NO NSX

PHP:
I can see it now. The New 2006 NSX AWD weighing 3400 lbs and a state of the art 290 HP V6

That doesn't sound bad to me. Of course that is because I am imagining what the Factor X turbo setup would do with AWD!

Factor X Turbo w/o AWD
755rwhp / 593ft/lbs @17psi.

I think it'd run in the 9-10 range! Imagine the facial expression of a new Ford GT owner as he gets lapped!

Well, let's hope that the AWD would help the FactorX car stay on the road, because this one at Watkins Glen at NSXPO didn't!

You say that as if it was the fault of FactorX that it went off the track.

No, you are missing my point all together. Maybe AWD would have helped to keep this car on the road. This car only had 550 hp, so if you add even more hp then it might be nice to have AWD. That was my only comment. I know from past experience with my Porsche 911 Twin Turbo and Mitsubishi Evolution VIII that AWD can be a great asset to any high performance car. That was my only point.

Clearly, this is "driver error" and has nothing to do with Factor X.

Please remove the Photos and post about the car ASAP.

Photo removed under protest. It used to be a free country. :(

It is still a free country.

You were free to disregard their request to remove the photo if you wanted to. If people still wanted it removed, they could contact the site admin.

Don't get me wrong, I understand why they want it removed and I think that is completely appropriate and would have complied with a similar request if it had been made to me. However, I don't think your freedom has been trampled upon here. YMMV. :)

Hey, I am just glad that driver and instructors are all Ok. It could have been MUCH worse than 2 nearly totaled NSXs. Watkins Glen is a FAST track for sure and unforgiving in sections... obviously.

I don't mean to be a Soup Nazi! I am just doing what was asked of me. If it were my car, I wouldn't want the pix posted until the situation was resolved.

Thanks for removing it though.
