2004 Acura NSX Changes

Looking at the picture again

What I see is an updated shift knob. The sides are black but the wrap going from one end over the top and down appears to match the console color. The door handles are also a silver/blue color which I thought were always black. I don't see anything different about the outside trim around the gauge cluster.

Personally, I am in awe at the beauty and design of the NSX interior. I don't see how it can be improved, other than shedding the tape deck and adding some new technology, i.e. an MP3 player upgrade. Hey, didn't someone here on this site manage to change the interior color? I admit, the orange doesn't appeal to me as much as say a blue. Oh, and as previously mentioned, some minor mods such as a starter button and some carbon fiber touches here and there would be nice :)

Although, since I can probably not afford a brand new NSX till I am in my mid 30's, I am probably not qualified to say anything:(

Oh well....I still got my old Blade:D

I have heard that it will be continued as is for '05.

Hmm.... the '92 NSX-R was in production for 3 years I believe, and so for the current NSX to carry over to '05 is very probable since the new NSX-R debuted in '02.

I'm actually more interested in "when" its going to come out. Talk about deja vu, we had these threads back in '01 when we were debating whether the '02 NSX was going to be a complete redesign. We had photoshoppped photos, scanned articles from major publications, and alot of them were wrong when we found out the '02 was just a facelift!

I think the same. A benchmark. It can be improved but the task is huge and pretty delicate.

A similar example would be how Mazda succeeded with its Miata.

How Lamborghini succeeded with the Diablo after the Countach but IMO how they failed with the Murciélago...

The design of the interior is great, but they can add some modern conveniences such as an in-dash CD, pwr seat memory, heated seats, auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers. Most of these items add no weight as they are just small circuit boards and a few extra buttons, but these are all features that belong in a $90k car.
