Becca, really nice story and good to see you also coming here as this may be the most important community for NSX owners for the last few decades. I as European NSX owner have been here since 2006 and got loads of invaluable info's from this community, even found my 2nd NSX here for sale in the...

Random NSX pictures that don't each deserve their own thread

Can't remember original replies on this, but I now understand these to be NSX droppings? Weird, mine must be constipated, as I have not found anything like this yet..

    Emblems ?

Funny, the A brand was put on to make it more high end/ exclusive, to separate it from the "mediocre" H brand  For some weird reason this upmarket branding does seem to work for the similar Lexus and Infinity brands, but not for Acura..:redface:

Surprise surprise... Tried to order the PF07 at Vividracing who have them on their site in all sizes It turns out however they cannot supply them on me asking why then they have them on their site ready to place order for them... no answer The Enkeis show up on several vendor's sites where...

Not fond of multispoke wheels, so that one is not for me Found a few more PF07 pics, all of the same car, seems to be rare on a NSX

Need your help sizing my wheels!

Supplier came up with the following PF07 Enkei wheel as replacement, these look somewhat similar as the Works and are available in NSX fitting similar sizes almost as the T7R were: 17x8.0J ET48 / 18x9.5J ET40 17x8.0J ET35 / 18x10.0J ET38 Only available in dark silver, which is a nice colour I...

By the way: Oyagi's rear wheel 18x10.5 ET32 is also discontinued..., 18x10.5 now only available in ET22 and ET12 which are way too wide...

Need your help sizing my wheels!

This is soooo disappointing.... After my long search for the for me nicest wheels and finally ordering the T7R in: front:17x8.0 ET 45 rear: 18x 9,5 ET38... I just received message from the supplier that Work has discontinued the T7R in 17x8.0 completely, they now only supply 17x7.0... which...

Need your help sizing my wheels!

The last 3 pics show enough, so don't bother to find more, thanks. I like the wheels just a little more inward, so this confirms my choice of sizes is good for me, nice to know. Also, wheels standing wider than the fenders even if just a little like your fronts is prohibited in my country and...

Need your help sizing my wheels!

Thanks a lot Oyagi, these additional pics of your beautiful NSX help a lot. :-) Do you perhaps have a more frontal and rear pic so it is better visible how much the wheels are flush with or possibly stick out of the fenders? From the above pics it seems your wheels both front and rear are...

Need your help sizing my wheels!

Good! I just ordered the T7R in almost same size as my present bronze Works CR Kai wheels: front: 17x8.0 ET 45 (old were ET 47, which Works now seems to have changed to 45) rear: 18x 9,5 ET38 I found a pic with these wheels in GT-Silver on a red 2002 (I think on that pic it is 18/19) and...

Need your help sizing my wheels!

As I feel this T7R to look really good, I have decided to go for them in GT-silver colour. Does anyone know for sure if the wheels in this pict are 17/18 or 18/19?

Need your help sizing my wheels!

I have the Emotion Cai in Bronze on my New Formula Red '98, but am somewhat tired of that combo. As 2 of the wheels have some minor paint damage, I am a bit torn between having the set repainted in a dark chrome/ hyper black paint or selling them and getting new T7R in GT silver as I feel these...

    Want to check your VVIS?

Thanks  I seem to remember heaving read about similar problems on certain BMW engines having these same valves and them coming loose too :frown:

    Comptech Supercharger

Driving ambitions may be the most knowledgeable place that you can go to have a supercharger installed on the NSX. I have been in contact with Chad a few times over the phone (as I am in Europe) and was impressed by his knowledge and willingness to answer my questions on the Comptech SC

I need a high boost pulley for a comptech whipple Sc

+ this, even if it doesn't lean out on mid-range rpm under accelleration, it will probably blow due to detonation as a result of the high boost while still using stock ignition advance maps. When running this high boost, you will need to retard ignition timing mappings

I need a high boost pulley for a comptech whipple Sc

Do be ware that just adding a high boost pulley will probably make the car run lean. The original Comptech high boost kit also uses a different rising rate FPR which raises the FP faster than the standard one..

I understood from previous topics on this, that there will be an engine check/error code when this is done

New owner needs advice on 1500 mile trip

ofcourse it is a valid question. However, I feel a lot of people seem to think of the NSX as an exotic car (with the related big chance of it breaking down :biggrin:). The NSX (with the exception of some odd failures like main relay, igniter, ignition coils), should be just like any...

    Tweeter Mount

1 week ago I finally got to install the additional Grundig tweeters as I did before in several other cars with non-bose stereo's. The result is in my opinion even better than in the previously done other cars. I took out the bose door units, opened them, connected the tweeters to the bose...

New owner needs advice on 1500 mile trip

Not sure I get the question...  Why wouldn't you be able to drive 1500mls back, it is a car... it is intended to drive with it. If you have any doubts if the car is up to a 1500mls drive, then don't buy it and find one that you do trust.:wink:
