"Here is the big thing with a used NSX. People love to use KBB as their price guide or base for what a used car should sell for. Now I know people on here think the car is worth more but in the general world of selling cars if you can't get acessed value written down somewhere than it is hard to...

Eight years of ownership and NOW she gets hit

Agree, its "merely a flesh wound" I would be more interested in the paint aspect, over the body work. Christian, agree also. But the term salvage was tossed out there as well as an offer to pick up at a "fair" price...... Insult to injury, salt in the wound etc........ Da Hapa are you keeping...

"i'd say 30k is pretty fair for a 97" I would say the 97 must be beat if its $30k. Its probably not the miles, 120k mi. is not really that bad for a 97. I have not seen a 97 sell for under 30k with a straight frame & clean title.

I love my job and I'm proud of it!

"That's disturbing as hell. I really wish you had written that you were the most bored worker on the planet." Really? lol lol Still a steam plant with valves, actuators, pumps, turbine, etc. Just like the most pristine NSX, it still needs Maintenance to stay pristine..

Quick simple questions for nsx owners!

"the ones without any changes (2001 and 2005) remain unchanged right?" Do you mean 01's were unchanged from 2000's and 05's were unchanged from 04's? I am not 100% sure? If there were changes chances are they were minimal. will check it out.

Agree, and if it does not fly and you still want the car you can always deduct some of the mods off the selling price as a (separate sale) and save a few bucks on sales tax. You will see what we mean after you look around then find "the one".

On another note, if the seller has ben trying to sell for a while he may have already lowered his price and may not be willing to go much lower. After spending weeks, months traveling around looking at NSX's when you find the right one you will not be worrying about a couple %'s points. You...

Best way to free-up HP in an automatic

Pick up a set of aftermarket headers, find a Tubi & have a blast! Even if you don't pick all that much HP the sound alone will be worth every penny. I would not worry for a minute about adding 15-20 hp. Its not like your going to be putting out 400-500 HP. Relax and enjoy the music.
