So, what is Honda fan suppose to drive now?

Yep, what they said. Lets see: 89, 98, 03, 08 Accords, 92 Prelude, 02 S2000, 92 NSX, 04 NSX, 01 MDX, 07 MDX so far.... my son already has his Civic Si picked out and I probably will need a Ridgeline...

    ? about a dealer

Assume you will need to replace timing belt/water pump/ plugs/clutch and window regulators and get estimates for those repairs, deduct this amount from your offer price. Don't expect the dealer to do it for you. Stereo and A/C is suspect on the early NA1 cars also.

    Off to Sebring...

I think it belonged to one of the testers (Jason something). Had a massaged Intrepid motor in it and sounded great! It looked like a cross between a Star Mazda and an Indy Lights car, pretty bad ass!

    Off to Sebring...

No, this was the Southern series finale. I did the race even though I'm normally in the Midwestern Series. Qualified 5th, finished P9 in Race 1, crashed out in Race 2, P11 in the Masters Finale. Dennis Trebing locked up the Southern Series regoinal championship. Not sure when the...

    Off to Sebring...

What a track! Lots of fun, 17 is very bumpy and the lateral g's are pretty impressive in the formula car, even w/o slicks. Did OK for my first time there. Next up, Road America.

never seen so many NSX for sale

The same thing happened to '60's muscle cars back in the '80's. Wish to hell I would have bought a $10,000 hemi Cuda and put it in storage. We were in a recession then and are again. The NSX will be back as a collector car in another 15-20 years, it's a comparitively rare car that has...

    Off to Sebring...

actually, video games are not a bad way to practice a new track. While you cant learn exact braking and turn-in points, you do get a good feel for where you're going and the track does feel more familiar the first time out. Worked for me at Road Atlanta last year, hopefully will help at...

    Who manages your investments?

I started my portfolio in the rockin' 90's when any bozo could do it. I'm not so arrogant anymore....

Why GM CAN'T be allowed to fail...

GM's problems are less about its products than its enormous legacy costs. How many thousands of 55 year old able-bodied retired UAW workers must we support? The solution is simple but no one in Washington has the courage to suggest it. Cut pensions!, quit paying people to sit on their...

Uh I thought the HSC was cancelled???

Pretty cool, they're gonna homologate KERS. That would be fun to play with.... I like the more angular look of the HSC. As for the wheel gap, I bet it will have an air-adjustable suspension ala the Enzo.

Fond old memories ... McLaren MP4/6 with Honda engine

I think this season's cars resemble the early 90's cars with larger front and smaller rear wings and cleaner lines.

    Off to Sebring...

3rd year, 2nd full season, yeah, they are pretty primitive cars. I'm fairly comfortable with a little seat foam.. Sebring looks bumpier than Hell, especially 17 through 1.

    Off to Sebring...

(my) Skip Barber season starts this Thursday in Sebring! It will be my first time at that track and I can't wait! Target time in the formula 2000 is about 2:30-2:35 for a podium. Hopefully, will have some slower guys in my run group. Wish me luck... Thanks gang!

congrats to ross brawn gp and jensen button!!!

I really like this story! Jenson and Rubens have been through alot and it's great to see them both succeed. Jenson took a voluntary 50% pay cut to help the team. I'm sure the Mercedes power-plant will prove to be faster and more reliable. I predict that new front wing will be very...

    Comptech lowering springs

I had them on my '92 years ago. settled out to abt. 1.0 to 1.25 inches by the time I sold it. I just got another set for the '04 and will be putting them on when I return from Sebring.... all 4 have 110-145 printed on them, perhaps that's the spring rate?
