thats strange...as I have had no major issues with my E38 or E24 (knockin on wood...) they together cost me less than 1K per year in actual maintaince charges..(how much I spend on waxing and cleaning we won't get into! )
I dont see how a car with a smaller, less complicated engine, FAR...
its not that i feel the trany is expensive as much as dangerous...I have heard horror stories on the prelude boards...and the failutre rate prior to 60k miles seems to be round 2 to 3 (!) ....
....more or less its that the thought of slipping into 2nd gear doing 80 on the highway that scares...
I plan on getting a 2 year warrenty with the car....
...or are these 'super warrenty' issues?
btw are there any owners round here?

http://www.getauto.com/autolinks_cardetail.html?x_dealer_id=AAD%400&vinNum=WDBFA67F1TF129692
It has 81k miles...carfax clean save one failed emission test in NY (is that a bad thing? what does it mean?)
I am thinking of trading my 99 prelude auto before its trany fails on a new daily car...
Thanks for the offer, but in order to buy a SH lude (or any ohter daily car for that matter) I am going to have to trade in my 99 SS auto lude...

thank you for all the work Neo NSX, I must say though, that review is horrible, It dosent deserve to be in the archieves, but then again you did put alot of work into it...prehaps a memo w/ it when its in archiees would do the trick?

Harrier,
I beleive the people here would love to help, so please don't take this the wrong way (by reading some of the posts)
if you post pics, it would take less than a second for many NSXers to tell you alot about the car, that said, where are you located? I am sure there are NSXers...
I would say look at BMWs...they are the first to incorpirate may safty features but dont get much credit beause their cars are not 'as cheap' as much as others.
BMW was first to incorperate head airbags back in the day...now the new 7s have more airbags than you can imagine!
As far as rigidy...
I hope he says this in the movie:
"Move b!tch get out the way!"
"doing 100 on the highway" (I dont remember the line exactly...)
haha that be funny
