I agree. It needs a lot more $$ to give it second life. That dealership were sketchy with me from the start, I ran away and fast. But as a "project" car, and if you have a considerable amount of funds, it could be almost as nice as that Johnny's 97 SPA ;-)
very good choice. its on my short list, but due to power features and creature comforts, I'm thinking a NA1 nsx would still be a better choice for me.. I'm on the fence about it still. Hopefully I can share from your experience with it..
and I'll tag along for paint/detail issue but moreso for moral support :-)

Originally unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show, the GT concept previewed a rather tasty sports saloon from Top Gear's former favourite purveyor of Korean reasonableness.
And now the GT is set to become real...
I don't know what the big deal is about paying $47k for that Red car. Its a damn good price for that car. He should be proud.
Its not like he paid $48k for a "rebuilt title" Imola Orange ;-) wink wink
I did look into an exige. Not enough creature comforts. I also looked into an Evora, but a White one got sold just as fast as that Red NSX.

I will see what the 997 turbo is like :-)
