I have had good luck diagnosing this sort of thing by putting the car up in the air on a lift or jack stands and having someone "drive" the car with someone listening underneath. You can simulate a load (acceleration) by applying the parking brake for a short time. You should be able to locate...
When you touch both leads on your cheap ohm meter together, what does it read? If it reads a couple of tenths of an ohm, you've got your answer. Many cheap ohm meters have a few tenths of an ohm just from the lead resistance which is added to all readings.

Want to trade? I have the stock grey 02+ rims on a silverstone NSX. The problem is that the grey doesn't match silverstone. It's just close enough to look like a mistake. I would prefer the chrome.

Mine is a true whistle (a pure tone). It is not a screech, or a sound usually associated with friction or bearing noise (I think). It is RPM and engine LOAD sensitive. I'm wondering if is a small exhaust leak. :confused:
