Very cool. I'm seeing a group buy coming.

    Nsx

First off, thanks for posting the link. Many will love the look. Others not so much. Love the photography, and/or whoever did the CGI? Those aren't real, are they? The styling is not my cup of tea. IMHO, in 10 years an unmodified NSX will still look pretty good, but that will look like a cartoon.

Silver is the new black...or red.

How do you preserve your car?

Believe it or not I've replaced my tow hook cover about four times so far. It is a great pic, mskrotzki. Glad the NSX survived the storm.

This NSX Review Might Make You See Red...

The additional conclusion in the review that really spoke to me was that you could DRIVE the NSX, even enjoy it daily without worries. Not the case with most exotics from then or now. (Unless you consider 911s exotic)

You are missing your tow hook cover.

    Drunk Driver

The fact that this sounded deliberate is what really infuriates me. He could have killed you. Too bad he didn't roll the truck, get tossed "clear" (I'm sure he wasn't the kind to buckle up) and end up under the thing. Would have quite possibly saved someone's life down the road. As to...

So just what price will an NSX be in 5 years?

OK. Thanks. Looking at it again, at least on the 91, I don't think you are crazy. Assuming the collector car market doesn't collapse.

This NSX Review Might Make You See Red...

Sam Smith's review of the original NSX will make you want to shake your fist in his face...for about fifteen paragraphs. (Don't worry, half of them amount to no more than single sentence.) But hang in there and try to keep your blood pressure under control. Most of you will catch yourselves...

Does an 02-05 battery and tie down fit on a 1991?

Thanks for posting the picture, Jinks. Mine sat on my desk for a week before I finally got around to putting it on. Looks just like yours of course, except my oem hooks work just fine. You must have a taller battery than I do. It is definitely wider.

How do you preserve your car?

After reading the last couple of posts I guess I'm in the middle. Driven it to Orlando (500+ miles each way) three times and try to get out on the road at least every second or third weekend and put between 5 and 30 miles on it, depending on the occasion. I don't have access to a lift for...

How do you preserve your car?

Take care of the leather. Do a lot of research about storing leather items long term. Keep the leather and vinyl interior trim clean...but I suspect you are doing that already. Use a car cover. Even if the car is stored indoors. Make sure it is a custom fit cover out of a proper material that...

What on EARTH is going on with NSX prices right meow?

Those puns are really grape. But now I'm in a bit of a jam. Cumquat may, prices will likely continue to rise. But current prices make me want to put a for salad up on Prime. Am I nuts? Or just berry misguided?

    NSX Build for Charity?

Take advantage of the collector car market which puts a premium on originality. I voted "other" and what I have in mind is a 1991 (year one, right?) with a full mechanical and bare-metal cosmetic restoration to like-new condition by a widely known company like SOS or by a team of automotive...

    NSX paint

Pretty sure all NSXs are base coat/clear coat. According to my detailer, the NSX paint and clear are unusually soft so he has always used a lighter touch and less aggressive machine pads and compounds on it compared to what he uses on most cars. If you "buff and buff" you risk going right on...

Bad buyer experiences, what are some of the horror stories when buying a used nsx?

Regarding the whole exotic/non-exotic thing: The car is constructed largely of fairly exotic, or at least high-end materials...specialty aluminum alloy body panels, titanium rods, magnesium alloy valve covers and intake cover, forged aluminum suspension bits, etc. So in that sense at least the...

So just what price will an NSX be in 5 years?

Calm down, King. Obviously you own an 03 or an 04. Hollywood said "less than expected". I think he meant less than expected by current owners. I also think he's right. I expect the bug-eye NSX's to command more than anything up through 96 with similar mileage and condition, thanks to the extra...

The 100 hottest cars of all time....

I don't have a problem with most of the cars on the list. But it looks like they just took the names of all the cars except for the top five or ten, threw them into a hat, and pulled them at random.
