zanardi shift knob

I just installed the zanardi shift knob on my '91 and why is it sitting so high up on the shift lever? It looks so out of place!

Did you change the shift boot too? The regular shift boot doesnt stay up unless you rig something up. I used the carbon-fibre/mesh boot, and am quite happy with the look. However, I am not a big fan of short stubby shift knobs, so I am biased.

No, I didn't change the shift boot.

Come to think of it, after the zanardi shift knob installation, it's more or less the same height as the '91 oem leather shift knob. I have been using a down low momo shift knob for so long that I forgot how high the oem was.
