OK, I did the solenoid flush to no avail. After spending much time
looking at the car, manuals and all the posts on the board, it seems clear
that the issue is the unit will not pressurize. The pump runs for about a minute after startup, then it shuts off and you get the yellow idiot light.

So, my question would be is there another common reason the unit wont pressurize OTHER than a stuck solenoid? If not, I was going to do the flush one more time, and if that doesnt fix it I guess I have to spring $2K for a new unit.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi Brian- when are you going to start fixing these things along with the Bose units ;)

The pump seems to work, just wont hold pressure I am guessing since it pumps continuously for about a minute then shuts off. When I did the soleniod flush, there was pressure coming out of the reservior (bubbling up the fluid, etc).

Sounds like I still have a stuck solenoid still, yes?

yep...still stuck would be my guess. I had the same thing.
A more fun way to cycle the solenoids is on wet pavement or gravel on pavement! ;)

I cycled my solinoids quite a few times and then went out and "exorcised" my ABS system 3-4 times. It did the run on pump thing a few times and then finally stopped.
Good luck.

Off to Pep Boys tomorrow to buy a gallon of DOT3 and do the solenoid
shuffle once again......
