Yay or Nay on these wheels?

I think the dark wheel and low profile tire creates a black hole inthe wheel well. I agree with lowering.

How low should I go? and what works best? I dont want it to be a bumpy ride as it already is and I do not want it to rub. They fit perfect right now, but would like to know what do most people suggest lowering it to? 1", 2"...?

The wheels look fine. I prefer OEM but...

For lowering without compromising the ride quality I'd either go with Bilstein shocks on the lower perch (~.875" lower) or Dali progressive springs (~1.25" lower). You don't want to lower more than 1.75" with those wheels. I think a 1.25" drop would be perfect.
