No it's been confirmed real by microsoft. It was suppose to be only distributed internally within the company but somebody leaked it out. Here's the link that said it's been confirmed.

Yes, I have Kinect. Even my 3 and 6YO girls aren't really into it. Our family uses the XBOX about 1hr per week.

This is what I was saying in my original post that if you're not a video game lover now, you'll end up spending about $750 on a 250GB XBOX, controllers, games, and Kinect, and then have it sit.

That's why if you're going to buy it primarily for racing games, just put the money to a more realistic simulator.
