At the end of the article in the latest C&D magazine, the author writes that the design was "...bass-ackward..." That's not too reassuring.

i will agree that the back of the car does sort of look like the front of a car, so maybe they have a point!

Car and Driver is irreverent indeed. Love their brutal honesty.
This is funny because I actually find the rear bumper area of the car the most concise part of the car.
It's the flying buttress treatment that is ultimately what is bothering most people IMO in making the car seem bulky, although it actually is in weight, but not size....
