i have an extra set of 1995 OEM rims for my 1992 white with black roof NSX.
they have chomre plating on them now which is flaking off. i was thinking of having them powdercoated black but people are telling me gunmetal would be smarter.
does anyone think black would look good, and would you go with glossy black or non-glossy finish? or should i just do the gunmetal.

black would look pretty good...

but on those rims I would probably say gunmetal over black. if you were talking about the earlier style rims (like I have) then I would have said black (like I did)...

Gunmetal and choose an OEM color for best effect IMO

A Black chrome would also look very nice.

Gunmetal (once upon a time, memories from the old Crystal Cove. I love the car equally as much back then)

White or black car can get away with almost any color, even green works.
