I believe you wouldn't by that statement. and that may be just one example of how we differ. That much dirt can also hide countless paint chips. It is also causing damage to the paint.

The car is owned by the Government. They are not going to let him wash it. I don't know how to put it in any simpler terms. They also don't give a rats ass about the car or it's paint or if they sell it for 2 cents.

Guys it is true that the Marshall auctions will not let the selected auto brokers wash or drive the car until 14 days before the sale date??? Doesn't make sense... BUT it is the truth.. Things are different when the government is involved. I will be getting a call from the broker I have been talking to e.j. when he drives the car and sees it even a little clean.. I will post pics if he emails them to me like he said he would.

its an Auction They cant detail every car thats there.They get 1000's of cars everyday . i see this stuff all the time.

Guys relax! Man I step away for 10 minutes and this thread already has turned into some heated debate? I know it sucks that the car is dirty and yea they should have washed it but is it really that big of a deal if you're not buying it? :redface:

I agree, kinda like the who drives thier NSX daily. Its your NSX. Drive the snot out of it or put it in the garage and polish the oil pan to a mirror-like finish.
