Worst looking NSX for sale

Nothing a good buff can't solve.

This is amazing. This guy is selling his car. He took a ton of photos of his car in the worst possible condition I think I have ever seen an NSX.

You have GOT to this this........ and remember, he is trying to sell it.

No no no, you get this all wrong !!!
Just look close at the add. It states, and I quote:
We sell extra clean pre-owned vehicles at auction prices to the public.

So, my guess, he doesn't REALLY want to sell car, he is just pretending he wants to sell it.
But, deep down, he just wants to keep it for himself. Even with that ugly shiftknob.

You havn't seen much then. If you keep your car well waxed and buffed, there is no hassle in cleaning the body after a drive in the rain. I'll rather drive in wet conditions than wait for weeks for sunshine and perfect conditions.

water ban in Atl GA...My car looked like that in the garage for about 1 month after going through a country road avoiding construction...Yes I am Guilty

my dealer sells some very nice condition used cars, however, half of them cars from auction place are like that when they came into our lot. Most likely, this is a place that deal with dealers with aution cars. I believed most of those dirt will rinse off, and a little detail will make it sparkle again.

Most of those dirts are from the transporting trucks or simply sitting in the aution lot that's not well paved, thus you'll see those dirt and mud spots all over the car..

It's also a convertible????

"2005 NSX-T Convertible"

just looks like salt residue from driving in the winter its a black car. you think they would have cleaned it its filthy and why would they bother taking pictures of the tires when there shot other then that the body panels are straight. it looks like it needs a good cleaning / detail / polishing

But you guys are forgetting one thing. You would at least CLEAN your car before you took 50 pictures and post it for sale on the internet!!!!!!

Just so everyone knows>

It is a US MARSHALL siezed vehicle along with all of the ones you see in the backround...

The seller is a North Carolina dealer and has won a chance to broker the vehicle for sale...

It looks the way it does because it has been sitting in a yard for a year and they have not gotten a chance to clean it... However the cleanign will be a simple wash and vacuum.

If anyone is looking to get in and pick it up they are looking for around 52k minimum bid and highest bid wins..

Hope that helps those interested..

E.J. the dealer I spoke with said it is not bad as far as scratches etc.. Just filthy dirty. He mentioned about 4-500 in reconditioning would make it as perfect as a 05 with 30k should look.

I like the pic. with the power washer sitting beside the car.

Maybe only the camera lens was dirty and the car is immaculate...

sad to see a barely 3 year old car look that terrible when nearly every 15 year old+ car looks far better!

BTW would that car have a recovery statement on the title? Or would it be a salvage? Is this a reasonable way to potentially get a decently discounted newer NSX or do you think the potential damage to this thing would offset the possibility of this being a good value?

Before reading about the US Marshall comment (makes sense) was thinking that this car was either (1) involved in a bitter divorce or (2) driven thru the Mojave dirt lot...

Judging by the markings on the windshield, that car just arrived from the Auction.

Even with that ugly shiftknob.

What are you talking about? That is the stock 04/05 shiftknob.

IMO, it looks like they left the car in the rain and let it dry on the paint with all that dirt. That's going to cause a lot of damage that may not be easy to get rid of (water spots/oxidation). Maybe a claybar/polish, but I would still be careful and inspect it in person before you buy.

This is funny, dealer should've washed it and cleaned it before advertising. Seems to me the dealer was eager or flattered to have a nsx in the showroom.

But I defiantly would not clean or should I say be able to clean someone else's car I was trying to flip before I even bought it.
